The conference closed with a "World Cafe" stlye discussions--participants gathered around tables to discuss a number of questions in relation to the conference theme. After each question, everyone moved to a different table to talk with a different group. In addition to talking in groups and commenting in the plenary session, there was also the option of writing on the cafe table cloths: see below for a selection!

"Get men involved otherwise we will not be challenging violence against women. Education programmes for men especially in Africa on HIV – support programmes for women to control their sexual lives. Education of children early intervention – Speak out against the cuts to women’s programmes – funding campaign (coffee mornings etc) Go beyond just talking."
The Clare Women's Network Community Singing Group, which performed at the event
The Clare Womens Network in collaboration with photographer Martina Cleary have developed a poster campaign to highlight this 16 Days Campaign. The posters depict only some of the abuses which women face everyday in Ireland and globally and are accompanied by facts relating to violence against women.
